Getting Started!

 

On Saturday the 20th November the project physically got going! A group of volunteers armed with spades, rakes and secateurs set about clearing the site. 

A new compost bin was erected then placed in position and a final site plan was decided upon. 

The clearing morning was finally completed with a large slice of cake! 

Thanks to all the helpers for their time and effort. The Hickling Village Community Garden project has officially begun!
